Donated by Paul Rich Dinsmore, M.D. in 1997, this collection includes 315 Dinsmore family photographs and one panoramic image. The photographs document members of the Dinsmore, Smart, Rich, and Dearborn families that intermarried as well as a number of family friends. In addition to both formal and candid family photographs, the collection includes scenic views of Brownville Junction, Falmouth Foreside, and Portland, Maine created by Joseph Emery Smart, Jr., who worked as a photographer as well as a hunting and fishing guide and woodsman.
