Description

Chocolate or brown photographic print of two teams of horses, loaded double-sleds, and men stopped in slushy snow of a frozen lake. On the left, a team of matched gray or white draft horses. Three men, Jonathan McBeth, Will Smart, and Byron Welch stand and sit atop the load of logs. On the right, a mismatched pair of draft horses pulls a load of logs with Ed Brown driving and Joseph Emery Smart, Jr. sits atop the logs. 1903. See NA2462.
