Description
Chocolate or brown print photograph of the Smart & Dearborn woods crew, Seboeis, Maine. A group of ten, unidentified men in the snow with two teams of horses, one man is laying in the snow, partially buried, his arms spread wide as he smiles at the camera. The rest of the men stand, posing somberly dressed in winter clothes to work in the woods. Two men hold double-bit axes while two others lean on peaveys. 1906. (See also p08012) See NAFOH 2462.
