Description

In the background, a large lilac bush is in bloom. Four children are seated in the grass. A dog lays in the grass in the foreground. From the left are the unidentified Maid of Honor, Bride, and Groom, an older woman in a dark gown and an older man with his legs crossed and hat resting on one knee. Next, Alice Smart Eldridge wears a light colored dress while holding a baby in her lap. Adelbert Eldridge sits next to her wearing a dark suit. He leans forward to support a toddler daughter is seated next to her brother in the grass. Mary Smart wears a dark, striped gown and sits next to her husband, Joseph Emery Smart, Sr. An unidentified woman, man and child sit at the end of the first row. Standing in the back row are an unidentified woman, Lucinda Sophia "Tena" Smart and Ernest L. Smart. The next ten people--six men and four women--are unidentified.
