Description
Chocolate or brown photo print of the Dearborn family near a canvas tent pitched in a clearing near a wooded area. A pond is visible in the distance. A fire place has been set up but is not lit. John Dearborn sits on the ground beside Helen Dearborn. Standing are Emma Dearborn, Lillian Dearborn, and Rose Dearborn. John Dearborn wears a hat and is dressed in dark pants and a dark vest over his shirt. The women are all dressed in long, dark dresses except Rose who is dressed with a dark cape thrown over the shoulders of a long, light-colored coat. An assortment of camping supplies, including a picnic baskets and an oil lamp sit inside the opening of the tent. circa 1894. See NAFOH 2462.
