Description

Sepia tone, formal portrait of a smiling young woman wearing a dark dress with a wide, ruffled white collar. The young woman is Winifred Mary Squiers daughter of Harry and Elise (Dinsmore) Squiers. She was born 1918 and is 17 years old at the time of this portrait in 1935. Winifred looks over her shoulder, her head at a coy tilt as she looks up and to the left. The photo is labeled in white inked cursive writing, "Winifred '35." The cardboard mat frame is imprinted with the words "Portrait by Waddington." 1935. See NA2462.
