Description
Black and white photograph of a long portion of the art installation "Scarecrows," a series of approximately 28 soft sculptures by Ann Vassie of Monticello, Maine, as seen on her property in 1995. The stuffed scarecrow sculptures, with painted faces, sit closely side-by-side on a long row of benches beside a fenced garden. Fruit tree saplings are visible in the foreground. Dense trees line the property in the background, completing the rural scene. The photograph captures a general overview of the art installation. Detailed features of individual works is not clearly visible. Undated. Paul Faria, photographer. (See p17125-p17139)(NA4800.)
