Description
Color photograph of reindeer sculptures by Dale Thomas, a metalworker and sculptor from Brooks, Maine. The image features two reindeer sculptures, each constructed from a steel drum for the body and a paint bucket for the head, with bent metal rods for legs, necks, and antlers. The sculptures are displayed outdoors on metal posts among grass and trees, with additional pine trees and brush in the background. The handmade figures appear to leap or run, adding a sense of movement to the scene, and the rustic environment emphasizes their creative use of repurposed materials. 1994. Unidentified photographer. (See p16889-p16908)(NA4800.)
