Abstract/ Summary

After two seasons of being a contender. the Black Bears are primed for the final step to a North Atlantic Conference Championship and an automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament. Maine, with a 17-15, 8-6mark, placed third in the NAC before a senior-laden Drexel squad eliminated the Black Bears in the conference semifinals. The 17-win total is matched by only four other UM teams. An improvement on those accomplishments will take increased maturity from returning players and the insurgence of new faces to make quick impacts.
