Abstract
Sister George: What's in a Name is adapted from a talk I gave at a FAC sponsored event at Lewiston-Auburn College of the University of Southern Maine, topic Franco-America at the Interstice of Identities, Sept. 23, 2019. Sister George was my mother's older sister. I never knew her real name until writing this piece.
