Description

Dana B. Dolloff graduated from the University of Maine in 1963 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.S. in Pulp & Paper Technology. He began his career with the International Paper Company, first at the Ticonderoga, New York mill and later at the Company's corporate and Washington offices as an environmental affairs liaison. Dolloff was named Manager of Raw Materials Purchasing in the company's corporate offices in New York City.

In the mid 1990's, Dolloff joined Rayonier as Director, Environmental Health and Safety. During his long and distinguished career, he was heavily involved in working with government and business leaders in developing, negotiating, and implementing many environmental programs and issues, always with the goal of balancing protection for the environment with the needs of our industry for business and operating flexibility. Dolloff retired from Rayonier in 2007 after 19 years of service.

Dolloff served the UMaine Pulp and Paper Foundation as a member of the Research Committee, Membership Committee, and Board of Directors.
