Description
Black and white, formal portrait of four children taken in a studio. The children are (left to right) Susie E. Buck (1891-1974), Perley E. Buck (1895-1946), Harry L. Buck, (1897-1959), and Laforest W. Buck (1890-1911). All three boys sit on a wicker chair while Susie stands to the left. Susie is dressed in a knee-length white child's dress with ribbons in her hair. Perley is dressed in a Little Lord Fauntleroy suit with a short jacket and broad, lace-trimmed collar. Harry, approximately 18-months of age, is dressed in a white child's dress with a skein of thread hanging from the hem. Laforest wears knickers and a jacket with a wide, white cape collar and large bow tie. circa 1898-1899. See NAFOH 2462.
