Sepia photograph of Elsie Dinsmore (left) holding her brother, Joseph Smart Dinsmore, Sr.'s suspenders behind him like reins. Elsie is 12 or 13 years old, wearing a dress with a hem that rests below the knee, dark stockings, and high button shoes. Joseph is 8 or 9 years old, dressed in short pants, a long-sleeved, white shirt stockings and boots. Elsie's straw hat rests in the grass beside them. ca. 1905. (See also 07849) See NAFOH 2462.
