    Brown or "Chocolate" tintype portrait of Ida Frances Smart wearing a dark-colored gown with a wide, ruffled collar. The gown includes light-colored ribbon bows on the collar and cuffs. A stiff lace collar is decorated with a thin, dark ribbon. Ida Frances Smart sports a somber expression. She has dark eyes and dark hair. She wears her hair up. She has pierced ears and is wearing long, dangling earrings (see p07780). circa 1870-1880. See NA2462.
