Description
Black and white photograph of a matched team of grey draft horses hauling a load of logs on a double sled. The load is stopped beside the Jordon Lumber Company woods camp at Grindstone, Maine. The entrance side of the camp is visible in the image. An unidentified man is seated on top of the load of logs, driving the team. The landscape is snow-covered but sunny in this photograph. The camp clearing is surrounded by birch trees. The original photograph was donated by M.L. Jordan, Old Town, Maine. Accessioned 1958.
