Description
Black and white photograph of chestnut stallion, trotter Guy Messenger wearing head number two for the 2.16 Trot at Narragansett Park on the Gorham Fair Grounds on Wednesday, July 2, 1941. Guy Messenger completed the first heat the contest of the Pine Tree Circuit meeting but scratched from the final two heats. The photograph is signed in black ink in the lower right corner by Guy Kendall.
