Abstract

Six panel race program for the Tuesday, August 30, 1938 Lincoln County Fair at the Lincoln County Trotting Park in Damariscotta, Maine. The names of race day officials as well as the post time, appear on the front of the program. The program includes information about modifications to Maine State Racing Rules 35, 94 and 95. The program also include Guy Kendall's handwritten notes about changes in field line ups, finishes and time as well as bets he placed on each race. The amount bet appears in the upper left corner of each race panel. The amount of winnings are noted in the upper right corner of each race panel. On this day, Kendall placed $36 worth of bets and took home $42.90 in winnings.
