Abstract
This film investigates the psychological aftermath of trauma, focusing on the ongoing process of negotiating life after a devastating event. Inspired by the true story of a woman living with the long-term effects of witnessing a traumatic incident, the project does not aim to portray a specific illness or historical moment. Instead, it adopts a broader psychological lens to explore how trauma manifests in daily life and how individuals attempt to navigate existence, productivity, and the pursuit of happiness in its wake.
Although the narrative is not autobiographical, the film is rooted in my personal response to trauma and reflects my efforts to process and make sense of emotional rupture through artistic expression. By engaging with a subject that is both intimate and universally resonant, the project seeks to contribute to a broader discourse on mental health, emotional resilience, and the representation of psychological experiences in media.
