The first anniversary broadcast, recorded in 1945, of a locally produced program known as the Blue Ribbon Minstrels. Everett Colman, interlocutor; Irv Hunter, announcer; Nissen Blue Ribbon Bread, sponsor. Also featuring the following cast: Don Holmes, Mr. Bones; [Leman?] Betts, Rufus the Clown; Norm Lambert, band leader; Bobby Jones, drums; Sam Viner, banjo; Stan Ivers, trumpet; Lanky Lancaster, sax; Dick Snare, trombone; Morris Shafmaster, Snowball; Gene Lewis, Sambo; Charlie Lancaster, Appleton B.
