Abstract/ Summary
Pages from a diary kept by Willis Carter, a teacher who lived in West Pembroke, Maine. Following the entry for December 31, 1892 there are a number of receipts from the "Headquarters of Camp No. 61, S.V., U.S.A," along with a news clipping, "Dr. Byron's Sacrifice," and a marriage notice of Mr. Fred T. Brown and Miss Bessie Martin of Calais, Maine.
