Pages from a diary kept by Willis Carter, a teacher who lived in West Pembroke, Maine. Notes follow the December 31 entry to provide lists of purchases and transaction amounts, letters received, cash received, and a page of addresses that lists Isaac M. Carter and Jonathan E. Carter, Jr., in Massachusetts, and a few other individuals.
