Abstract/ Summary
As the University of Maine’s 160th year comes to a close, I am grateful for the leadership, excellence, and learner-centered commitment you have consistently demonstrated.
In the face of extraordinary headwinds, our flagship is emerging stronger from a year of challenge and change. Together, we navigated unprecedented disruption to our federal grants and contracts and the longest government shutdown in history. Yet today we are better positioned than ever before to prepare students for success and chart Maine’s course toward a more prosperous future.
