Abstract/ Summary

After careful consideration, the executive vice president for academic affairs and provost search has been concluded without an appointment. I want to express my sincere appreciation to the search committee for their exceptional efforts throughout this process, as well as my gratitude for the opportunity to host a number of candidates during their campus visits. While the search yielded several strong finalists, I have decided at this time to have Dr. Gabe Paquette continue to serve as interim executive vice president for academic affairs and provost. I am grateful for his continued leadership and dedication to the academic mission of the University of Maine and its regional campus in Machias.
