Abstract/ Summary
Peter Dugas is the Maine State Coordinator for Citizens Climate Lobby, and he will facilitate this program. Climate Change now confronts us with a grave existential crisis with the threat to future human and other planetary life. 2025 has been a tough year for climate policy. The anti-democratic minority elite, with dominant corporatized economic and political power, increasingly promotes fossil fuels and attacks solar and other sustainable options. Nevertheless, as Peter Dugas will show, there is still hope and room for increasing democratic pushback. Using the effective MIT EN-ROADS Climate Policy interactive workshop and joined by the community CCL volunteers and students, participants will learn how they can have a positive impact on climate environmental sustainability, energy, equality, and justice.
