Abstract/ Summary
Bree Jimenez presents, Learning grade-level content, skills, and practices can be challenging for students with autism and intellectual disability. When teachers understand the core components of what to teach and how to teach it, students can learn how to succeed academically in meaningful ways. This presentation will explore the essential elements of ELA, math, science, and social studies as well as the research and evidence-based practices for teaching grade-aligned academics to students with ASD/ID.
