Abstract/ Summary

Head Coach Tim Whitehead enters his fourth season at the helm of the University of Maine men's ice hockey program. With Whitehead behind the bench, the Black Bears have continued the success that has defined the program for nearly two decades.

In his first three seasons as head coach, the Black Bears have advanced to the NCM Tournament all three seasons, reached the NCM National Championship game twice and won the Hockey East Tournament Championship. Over the three year period, Maine has a 83-29-15 record. In eight seasons as a head coach, Whitehead has a career record of 159-124-26.
