Abstract/ Summary

The goal is simple at the University of Maine. The Black Bears are pursuing their first America East Championship and NCAA Tournament appearance. While the Black Bears fell short of those goals a year ago, Coach Giannini's team set a school record for league wins ( 13) and tied the University mark for overall wins (19). After the success oflast season, UMaine will not surprise anyone with a run at the 2000 America East Championship.
