Abstract/ Summary

Last season the Black Bears finished at 17-10, the second best record of any Division One basketball team in New England. In addition, they ended at 7-7 in the North Atlantic Conference and moved to the conference's semi-final round before losing to eventual winner Northeastern. The 1984-85 Bears will be hard pressed to repeat that success because of the loss of three starters from last year's club along with sixth man Kevin Green.
