Abstract/ Summary
Head Coach George "Eck" Allen called out the varsity squad on November 17--only two days after his varsity gridders had copped their first state championship since 1934. During that first week of practice nearly a hundred men reported out for work but it was soon necessary to narrow the squad down to a more workable group.
