Abstract/ Summary

The Student Government Reserve Fund was established in the University of Maine Foundation in 2003 for the benefit of the University of Maine’s undergraduate student leaders. The funds were transferred to the University of Maine Foundation from Student Government, Inc.’s emergency cash reserve.

The fund shall be used to provide annual awards of $500 for every $8,000 in the fund (Market Value.) No partial awards shall be granted. The fund may not necessarily exist in perpetuity. The total award amount may be designated to as few as one undergraduate Student, or one award may be given for every $500 available in the fund.
