Abstract/ Summary
An enterprising project to address Maine's teacher shortage and provide an alternative certification process is off and running in mid-coast schools through a partnership with the University of Maine College of Education and Human Development. The innovative work of the regional collaboration is also catching the attention of other districts struggling to find, certify and keep qualified teachers.
