The Maine Perspective, a publication for the University of Maine, was a campus newsletter produced by the Department of Public Affairs which eventually transformed into the Division of Marketing and Communication. Headlines in this issue include: "University's First Endowed Chair to be in Chemical Engineering;" "High School Students Tap UM Engineering Expertise;" and "Book Examines the Christian Right's Influence on Congress."
