Abstract/ Summary
The Maine Perspective, a publication for the University of Maine, was a campus newsletter produced by the Department of Public Affairs which eventually transformed into the Division of Marketing and Communication. Regular columns included the UM Calendar, a list of ongoing activities and events, "Campus Notes," "From the Library," and job listings as well as feature stories. Headlines from this issue of Maine Perspective include: Rural Healthcare the Focus of Federal Grant to School of Nursing; UM's 178th Commencement Set; Commencement 1991 Especially Significant for the Parent Family; State Student Nurses Association Rejuvenated by UM Students; and Katherine Weber Can Truly Say "I've been there."
