Abstract/ Summary

The University of Maine campus newsletter, Maine Perspective, was redesigned at the start of the 1991 Academic Year and expanded to include new, regular features including: "volUMes" featuring newly released titles by UMaine authors, "Look Who's On Campus," an opinion column "Viewpoint," Classified Ads, and other content. Included in this issue are articles covering the first week of classes, rape and sexual assault awareness on campus, redefining community at Residential Life in terms of diversity and interdependence, non-traditional students, and a budget update.
