Description
A hand-drawn, caricature style map created for the centennial of the University of Maine and included as a folded insert in the Prism Yearbook in 1965.
This image was included in the book Becoming Modern: The University of Maine, 1965-2015, with the caption, "Map of the University of Maine from 1865 to 1965. In its first century, the University of Maine replaced the logging and pulp and paper industries as the primary driver of both civics and the economy of Orono."
