An image scanned from a postcard of the Baxter Building on Congress Street when it served as the public library in Portland, Maine. Prominent architectural features include sandstone brickwork and several decorative windows. A horse and buggy and an automobile are parked in the front of the library. No additional publisher information or date appear on the back.
