Description
An image scanned from a stereoscopic view with text printed along the bottom that reads, "Logs from the forest delivered at the stream, Aroostook County, Me." Information printed of the photograph notes that "lumbering is an important industry in northern Maine... Notice that the cone-bearing trees are tall and straight and that most of their wood is in the trunks. Such trees can be sawed into good and boards... The Maine wood are near large cities which buy great quantities of lumber, pulp, and paper."
No date is printed on the card, but the photograph is numbered 12260.
