Description
This black and white image is labeled "Augusta in 1823. By Searle." Text in the lower left reads, "R. Sayer, Del." and in the lower right, "G.H. Matthews" is noted as the engraver. This image was scanned from a version saved within the Dutton family papers that appears to have been removed from a magazine, but the source is not noted. This version had been folded into four sections, and measures 16 cm x 42 cm. Old Fort Western is visible on the left side of the drawing.
