Description
A photograph of a University of Maine graduate assistant identified in handwriting as Jerry Choate studying vegetation in relation to eider nesting on a coastal island. Notes indicate that each stake marked the location of a recent eider nest, and that the photograph was taken on the islands south of Isleboro, Maine, Penobscot Bay, Spring, 1976.
The photograph was saved within the papers of Maine ornithologist Howard Lewis Mendall.
