Description
An image scanned from a black and white negative saved within items of a family living in Old Orchard Beach in the early 1900s. A member of the family, Clement P. Wight, worked as a towerman for the Boston & Maine Railroad. He was a union organizer and proponent of the Socialist Party in Maine. The rail yard may have been the setting for this photograph, but there's no information to indicate whether that is the case, or to identify the individuals in the photograph.
