A black and white postcard featuring a woman in a field and text that reads, "The Comrade With the Hoe. I'm hoeing a patch of potatoes, And weeding some onions too, Now don't you think dear Comrade, I'm doing my bit for you?" The illustration also features a small inset of three World War I soldiers with bayonetes. Part of a series of postcards produced by the Merval Corporation, New York City.
