A black and white photograph of Maine guide Charley Miller assisting boxer Jack Dempsey with one of his snowshoes while Dempsey leans against a tree and smokes a cigar. Miller had a training and conditioning camp for fighters at Moosehead Lake, introducing boxers such as Dempsey, Primo Carnera, Gene Tunney and Jack Sharkey to the Maine woods. Circa 1930.
