    Description

An image scanned from a black and white photograph of the Norumbega. The steamboat had been one that traveled around Mount Desert Island to Seal Harbor, Northeast Harbor, Southwest Harbor and Manset. This photograph was taken by someone working for the summer in Bar Harbor after an Atlantic storm washed the boat aground "on the far side of the island" in 1914.
