Description
An image scanned from a black and white photograph with a handwritten caption on the back added by Maine author and folklorist Fannie Hardy Eckstorm that appears to read, "Oldtown Island from the landing of Carltons [?] - 1891". Building profiles are very similar to another photograph with the caption, "Old Town (Indian) Island from Old Town."
