An image scanned from a black and white photograph of the Randel family traveling to Greece. William P. Randel was invited to serve in a professorship abroad at the University of Athens from 1955-56. Saved within a scrapbook that includes other items related to the Greek Line - T.S.S. "Olympia." William's wife, Janet, and their daughter, Elizabeth, are among others in the crowd on deck in this photo.
William P. Randel was later a professor of English at the University of Maine in Orono (from 1965-1974), and Janet H. (Belknap) Randel was a librarian at the university.
