Description
An image scanned from a color photograph of the members of the Spectator Club taken in 1972. Saved with the photograph is a note written by one of the members, James A. Gannett, mentioning that it seems like a fine idea to take a picture taken, "good for the records and for the amusement of the Club-2002 30 years from now!" Taken at the home of Harold Chute by Weston Evans.
Handwriting on the back indicates that those in the photograph are, front row left to right, Maynard Jordan, Harry Watson, James Gannett, Weston Evans, Gene Mawhinney, Lyle Jenness; rear left to right, Eldred Hough, John Nolde, Ed Brush, Walter Turner, William Wells, Parker Cushman, Charles Crossland, Ford Campbell, Edwin Bates, Harold Chute and Andrew Chase.
