Description
An image scanned from a black and white photograph of band composer R. B. Hall. Handwriting at the bottom of the photograph appears to say, "Robert Browne Hall, 1858-1907, American Bandmaster, Composer, Clinician, Adjudicator, Cornet Soloist of Excellence and Above All Human Being."
An article about Hall in DownEast magazine, October, 1967, began, "Next to John Philip Sousa probably no band composer in America has produced more stirring marches than R. B. Hall of Richmond, Maine," (p. 30).
