    Description

    An image scanned from a black and white photograph of a steam engine surrounded by water as it passes down flooded tracks. A handwritten note on the back reads, "Just above the dam during the recent freshet." A stone marker in the photograph reads, "112 miles to Vanceboro." No date. Saved within the papers of Lewis A. Savage of Brewer, Maine.
