An image scanned from a black and white photograph used as an illustration within a 1914 thesis by Robert Wilbur Andrews, William Earle Kimball, and Gerald Arlester Rounds, An Investigation of Double Tracking the Maine Central Railroad Through Veazie, Maine. Preceding text mentions, "We put in a .34% grade up to the present grade crossing. This gave us clearance so that, by raising the highway, an overhead crossing could be constructed."
