Description
This is a scanned image of a black and white photograph of a man sitting on a log and looking across Millinocket Stream toward Fowler Farm and the future location of a Great Northern Paper Company mill. The writing on the back of the photograph further places the date of the photograph as 1898 or early 1899. The writing also includes the note, "This man, an engineer named Hart, was later drowned in Millinocket Stream."
